未来の投票の姿

超党派と言われる、党の枠組みを超えて
ある共通の目標を達成するために団結した
若手の国会議員が、インターネットを使った
投票や、被選挙権の引き下げを検討し、年内に
提案を取りまとめて各党に働きかけるという。
シルバー民主主義が蔓延り
若者の声が無視されがちな現在、
若年層の政治参加を促すという意味では
インターネットを使うことで
投票先を調べたり、寝ながらでも投票できて
投票コストは下がり良いと思う。
しかし、
例えばベットで横になりながら投票を
行うということを想定した時に
その人の頭では本当に政治のことを
考えているのだろうか。
つまり普段政治に馴染みのない人は
投票所にいくことでその瞬間は
政治について考える機会になると思う。
そう考えると、
確かに投票におけるコストは下がり
投票率は良くなると思うが
質的な部分に目を当てると
必ずしも良い方法とは言えないのではないかと
思った。
